For international returns, we do not cover return shipping costs for any reason.  The buyer must pay for shipping and all other associated fees.

We stand behind our product.  If the product is defective or damaged, we will provide a full refund or no-cost replacement within 45 days of your purchase receipt. After 45 days the item is covered by our 1 Year No Hassle Replacement Warranty.

Refunds:

Items are eligible for a refund within 45 days of the purchase date, once we receive your item back, a refund is usually processed within 1-2 business days.  Please allow 3-5 days for the refund to be posted back to your original method of payment. If you paid by credit or debit card, please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

This warranty does not cover electrical or mechanical damage resulting from misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, water damage or damage due to force majeure or natural forces, or inadequate repairs performed by unauthorized service centers.

Physical or Wireless Interference may cause audio to skip, sound fuzzy, shorten a range, cause problems pairing or even change playback speed.

If your experiencing problems:

1.  Make sure antenna is attached securely and upright

2.  Make sure paired device is fully charged for full signal power.

3.  Reduce WiFi or RF interference:

• Always use the included USB cable with ferrite core to help eliminate electrical noise.
  
• Move the RTX away from routers, microwaves, Apple TVs, older stereo receivers/amplifiers, cordless phones, TV sticks, etc.
• Place a book underneath the RTX

4. Move the RTX away from physical obstacles, avoid metal, cement, or plaster.  Move metal objects such as keys or coins away.

5.  Reduce the number of surrounding wireless devices and plug some into the router via cables.

6.  Reset WiFi frequency:

• Turn off your internet

• Turn on your Home RTX Pro and paired device, wait for 15 minutes.
• Turn WiFi router back on.  Your router will detect the frequency used by Miccus and automatically select a different frequency.
  

 7.  If the above doesn't help, "Re-Pair" the devices for a new connection.  Delete the existing connection on each device and start the pairing process again.

Note:  The size and quality of your paired device will affect your range.  Bluetooth earbuds have a small internal antenna with less range typically.

1.  Check Your TV port options and connect the RTX:

• Optical:  On the TV, plug into the Digital Optical OUT.  On RTX, plug into Optical IN.

If you have no sound after pairing to your headphones or speakers, check your TV audio settings.  Set your TV's digital audio format to PCM instead of Dolby Digital.  The Home RTX 2 only sees stereo signal and does not recognize Dolby Digital 5.1 or higher surround signal.

• 3.5mm cable.  On the TV, plug into the 3.5mm headphone jack.  On RTX, plug into the 3.5mm IN.

If you have no sound after pairing to your headphones or speakers, check your TV's Sound Settings. Make sure that the Audio Output has been set to "HEADSET." Some TVs automatically complete this step for you, some don't.

• RCA cable.  On the TV, plug into the RCA (red and white) Audio Out.  On RTX, plug into the 3.5mm IN.

RCA NOTE: Make sure your TV red and white connection is labeled "Audio Out" or "AUX Out."  If the                  RCA ports are grouped with other color ports or not labelled, they are for Audio In and are not suitable.

2.  Connect Power / Turn On:

• Connect the included USB cable into your TV USB; the RTX will power on and off with your TV.
• Once connected, the RTX automatically turns ON.
• Either "Optical" or "AUX" will be solid green, and the CH1 blue light will blink slowly.

NOTE: To ensure maximum range, always use the included USB cable with ferrite core for less interference.

3.  Select TRANSMIT: Verify the TX/RX button on the back is pushed IN to TX (Transmit) to send Bluetooth audio to the headphones.

4.  Place your receiving device into pairing mode (headphones, speakers, etc)

5.  To Pair: press and hold the center MFB button for 3 seconds until the CH1 light begins flashing rapidly.

7.  Once paired, the CH1 light will change to either solid blue or blink twice every 5 seconds if in Low Latency codec.

8.  Your system is ready to use.  Enjoy!

First, is the CH1 light on the RTX solid?  If yes, it is paired and ready to use.  If not, please click HERE for  pairing instructions to connect.

Are your headphones paired to the RTX?  Turn off your headphones.  Did the CH1 light turn off?  If not, the RTX is paired to another device. Please turn off Bluetooth on other surrounding devices and / or reset both devices to re-pair again.

If there is still no sound:

Check your TV audio settings.

For Optical Connections:

Under your TV's settings, change your TV's digital output format to PCM, a stereo format which Bluetooth can see.

If your TV's digital audio output format is set to Dolby Digital, there will be no sound.  Bluetooth technology does not support DTS or Dolby 5.1/ higher surround sound format.

For 3.5mm Connection:

Check your TV's Sound Settings. Make sure that the Audio Output has been set to "HEADSET." Some TVs automatically complete this step for you, some don't.

For RCA Connection:

Make sure your TV red and white connection is labeled "Audio Out" or "AUX Out."  If the RCA ports are grouped with other color ports or not labelled, they are for Audio In and are not suitable.

Under the TV Settings for Audio Out, you may need to select "External Speakers" or "Analog Audio Out", i.e. for Vizio TVs.

NOTE:  After changing TV audio settings, please turn off the transmitter, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to reset the setting changes.

If Optical connection, try resetting the TV:

If you are using Optical Digital with your TV, please unplug the optical cable from your TV and then plug it back in again.  This will make the TV reset its signal format and should start working.

Miccus products use the latest "aptx low latency" codec technology from Qualcomm.

AptX LL delivers superior stereo quality sound without any noticeable delay (known as latency).

If you are experiencing audio delay,

1. Does your other Bluetooth device support aptX Low Latency?

For no delay or lip sync problems, both the transmitter and receiver must support aptX Low Latency.  

If your paired device does not support aptX LL, your Miccus adapter will default to the standard aptX or SBC codec, causing a "delay."

2.  Can you adjust your TV audio to eliminate the delay?

Check your TV manual.  Some newer TVs have a way to adjust for audio lag / delay independent of any Bluetooth technology.

3.  Do your headphones need adjusting?

Some Sony headphones default to the “Standard” mode (SBC high quality mode). To connect in aptx LL codec, you may need to change the headphones codec “Priority on sound quality”. Please refer to your Sony manual.

If you experience problems pairing:

1.  Turn Bluetooth OFF on all previous paired devices (phones, tablets, computers, watch, etc) that you have previously paired to any of your headphones, speakers, or soundbar.  Then try and pair again.

• All Bluetooth devices look for the last paired device when turned on and in range.  Your device may be connecting with another previously paired device.
• Apple products prioritize pairing with other Apple products so turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone, iPad, Watch, etc
  

2.  Make sure your device is in pairing mode by googling the device you are trying to pair to. 

• Most device's pairing mode is shown as rapidly flashing LED light between BLUE/RED. 
  
• When BOTH your device and the RTX are in pairing mode, keep them close to each other and try to pair again.

3.  Reset and clear pairing history for both devices. 

To reset the RTX, please:

• First, make sure the RTX is powered on
• Power off the RTX by pressing the MFB button for approx 6 seconds until the lights turn off.
• Release the button (device is off with no lights)Press and hold the MFB button again for approx 10 seconds.  The RTX will power back on and then power back off again.
• Power the RTX back on again.  The CH1 light will blink fast confirming you have reset the device and it is ready to pair
• Pair with your device
  

To reset the device that you're trying to pair with, please refer to that device's user manual.

4. Try to pair at a signal shielded place

• If all else fails, bring the two devices you'd like to pair into your CAR and close the door.
• Power both devices up (you can power up the Home RTX using your car) and try to pair them.
  
• Your car is a signal shielded space, hence random signals are less likely to "interfere" the pairing in there.

Once successfully paired, the Home RTX should auto-reconnect to your device every time both of them are turned on.

The class of the Bluetooth device will determine the wireless range.

Class 2

·        95% of the Bluetooth devices on the market today

·        Streams up to 30FT (10M) line of sight

·        Wireless interferences such as WiFi, microwaves, baby monitors, etc cause an even shorter real-life range

·        Will NOT stream thru walls.

Class 1

·        Miccus specializes in Class 1 devices that can stream up to 300FT (100M)line of sight.

·        Our Home RTX 2.0 in an open-air test transmitted over 400FT when paired with a JBL Flip 4. 

·        Easily streams thru walls allowing users to walk freely into different rooms or even outside without losing connection.

The range will be affected by the quality and size of the paired device. For example, larger, over the ear headphones will typically have a better range than very small earbuds. A Bose speaker will have a better range than a low-end knock-off.

Our Swivel Jack RTX is rated Class 1. However, due to the compact size and internal antenna, it will only transmit up to 100ft,still 3x greater than Class 2 Bluetooth.

Bluetooth only sees a stereo signal and does not support a surround format of Dolby Digital 5.1 or higher.

Hearing aid manufacturers typically require purchase of a proprietary transmitting device.  Pairing with a third party transmitter like the RTX is hit or miss.

Check first with your hearing aid manufacturer.

Though our RTX are both a Bluetooth® transmitter and a Bluetooth® receiver, it can only operate as one or the other. The RTX is not designed to receive and transmit at the same time.

The Bluetooth signal LED light on Miccus devices will blink red and blue rapidly when in pairing mode. Once pairing has occurred, the LED will pulse slowly, indicting a Bluetooth connection.

Pairing is only required when connecting two devices for the first time; once paired, devices should recognize each other automatically during subsequent connections.

You will have to complete the pairing process again if pairing information is deleted or becomes corrupted. This can happen under the following circumstances:

1. Pairing information is deleted after device maintenance

2. The unit has been paired with nine or more devices

3. If a device you have already paired cannot be connected, pair the device again.

Miccus devices DO NOT require passkey entry to pair with other Bluetooth devices. Devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, even some stereo systems, may require you to use a passkey when pairing with Miccus devices. If you need device specific paring instructions, consult your device specific owner's manual for pairing your smartphone, tablet, laptop or stereo system to Miccus Bluetooth products. For devices that require a passkey try the following: "0000", "1234", or "8888".

For Bluetooth transmitters and receivers with internal batteries, pairing information can be registered for up to eight Bluetooth devices total. If a new device is added exceeding the limit of eight, the oldest pairing will be replaced by the newest pairing.

First, check to see if your TV supports Bluetooth. If it does not, then choose either the Home RTX 2.0 or Swivel Jack RTX to transmit sound from your TV to headphones.

Both of these products support aptX Low Latency codec, ideal for TV, movies or videos.

The multi-function button on the front of the Home RTX 2.0 powers it On or Off.

To turn Off, hold down the button for 6 seconds until the indicator lights turn off, then release the button.

To turn back On, hold down the button for 6 seconds until the indicator lights turn on.

The pairing process creates a Bluetooth bridge between a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver.

For Quicker, Easier Pairing:

Make Sure to:

• Keep the RTX 2.0 and your Bluetooth device physically close together during the pairing process, no more than 3ft apart.
• Turn off any previously paired devices, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, adapters etc. so the RTX is ready to look for a NEW device to pair to.
• Verify the 3.5mm or Optical Audio cable is plugged into the "From TV" on the back.

Transmit (TX):

1. On the back switch, select TX by pressing the button IN.

2. Place your receiving device into pairing mode (headphones, speakers, etc)

Voice Prompts 

To make the pairing process easier in RX mode, Miccus has added friendly voice prompts to communicate the status.  From your speaker or headphones, throughout pairing and use you will hear:

• Power On - Home RTX 2 has been turned on
• Pairing - Home RTX 2 is looking for a devcie to pair to
• Connected - Your devices are connected and ready to use
• Disconnected - Your devices are no longer connected or paired
• Power Off - RTX 2 is Off

To Turn off Voice Prompts:

1. Place the RTX 2 into RX pairing mode by holding down the MFB button.  The voice prompt says "pairing."
2. Double click the MFB button and the voice prompts are now turned OFF.
3. To turn prompts back on, put the RTX 2 into RX pairing mode again, and double click the MFB button.

Pairing Mode RX:

1. On the back, select RX mode by pressing and releasing the switch to the "OUT" position.
2. Start pairing by pressing the MFB for 3 seconds until the CH1 light flashes rapidly.

3.  Open the Bluetooth menu on your phone or tablet and select the Miccus Home RTX 2.0.  If a passkey is required, use "0000".

4.  WAIT for the devices to connect.  This may take up to 30 seconds.

5.  Once paired, you will hear a voice announcing "Connect" and the RTX 2 CH1 light will change to either solid blue or blink twice every 5 seconds if in Low Latency mode.

6.  To being streaming wireless audio, simply press play on your audio source, adjust the volume as desired, and enjoy!

1.  To turn off the voice guide, place the RTX 2.0 into RX pairing mode by holding down the MFB button.  The voice prompt says "pairing", indicated by a fast flashing blue light on CH 1.

2.   Double click the MFB button and the voice prompts are now turned off.

3.   Follow steps 1 and 2 to turn voice prompts back on again.

Adjust the Volume on Your Paired Device

Miccus adapters are passive Bluetooth transmitters or receivers, audio simply passes through.  Control your volume on the paired audio device such as your TV, phone or headphones.

If using RCA connection, change to Optical or 3.5mm. 

RCA jacks on TVs often have a very low preset volume that cannot be adjusted, causing in a lower volume range.

Try changing the connection to either digital Optical Audio Out port or 3.5mm AUX/ Headphone Jack.

The volume range should improve after changing to either one.

The Home RTX 2.0 also features optical audio pass thru. Use the same audio source and daisy chain two or more Home RTX 2.0’s together; double or even triple the number of low latency audio streams available for use. Avoid the use of an optical splitter box; use the digital audio pass thru of the the Home RTX 2.0 to send television audio to both the RTX 2.0 and your soundbar.

Digital optical audio pass thru is automatic; no switching necessary. To get started, use the RX / TX selector switch and select TX by latching the button in. To use the optical audio pass thru feature you’ll need 2 optical cables; connect them as follows below:

Using optical audio pass thru to a soundbar:

1.   Optical Cable 1: connect one end of the optical cable to your television’s optical / digital audio out (TOSLINK type connector) and connect the other end to the From TV “Optical In”.

2.   Optical Cable 2: connect one end of the optical cable to your soundbar’s optical / digital audio input, and connect the other end to the To Speaker “Optical Out”.

Using optical audio pass thru to daisy chain a 2^nd or 3^rd Miccus Home RTX 2.0:

1.   Optical Cable 1: connect one end of the optical cable to your television’s optical / digital audio out (TOSLINK type connector) and connect the other end to your first Home RTX 2.0’s From TV “Optical In”.

2.   Optical Cable 2: connect one end of the optical cable to your first Home RTX 2.0’s To Speaker “Optical Out, and connect the other end to your second Home RTX 2.0’s From TV “Optical In”.

NOTE:  the analog “3.5mm In” and “3.5mm Out” do not offer the audio pass thru feature.

If for any reason the Home RTX 2.0 is not working as expected, perform a factory reset to clear the memory and restore the default settings.

Make sure the RTX 2 is connected to power to perform the following:

1.   Power off the RTX 2 by pressing the MFB button for roughly 6 seconds until the lights turn off.

2.   Release the button (the device is off, no lights).

3.   Press and hold the MFB button again for approximately 10 seconds. The RTX 2 will power back on then power back off again.

4.   Power the RTX 2 back on again.  The CH1 light will be blinking fast indicating you have reset the device.

5.    Pair again for first use.

Here are a few tips to pair your RTX with Airpods:

1) Make sure and turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone, iPad or Mac while using your AirPods with the RTX 2.0.  Bluetooth devices always look for the most recently paired device to pair to, especially Apple products.

2) Place the RTX 2.0 in TX (transmit) mode; the button on the back of the RTX 2.0 should be pushed in.

3) Place your AirPods in pairing mode.

4) Put the RTX 2.0 into pairing mode by pressing and holding the front button for 3 seconds until the blue Ch1 is flashing rapidly (4-5 times per second).

Once paired the RTX 2.0 will have a solid blue light on Ch1.

1.  Put your Google Home Device into Pairing Mode by either:

• Via Voice Control: Simply say to your Google Home Device "Hey Google, Bluetooth Pairing Mode."

OR

• Via your Google Home App: In the app, select the Google Home device you'd like to pair -> Click the Settings button on the top right corner -> Select Paired Bluetooth Devices -> Click on Enable Pairing Mode.
  

2. Put your Miccus RTX into Pairing Mode

• Make sure the RTX 2.0 and your Bluetooth device are physically located near each other during the pairing process, no more than 3ft apart.

• Make sure any previously paired devices, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, adapters are turned off so the RTX is ready to look for a NEW device to pair to.

Transmit (TX):

1. 
   

   On the back switch, select TX by pressing the button IN.

2. Connect either the 3.5mm or Optical Audio cable in the "From TV" on the back.
   

3. Place your receiving device into pairing mode (headphones, speakers, etc)

4. Press the MFB button for 3 seconds until the CH1 light begins flashing rapidly.

5. WAIT for the devices to connect.  This may take up to 30 seconds.

6. Once paired, the Home RTX 2 CH1 light will change to solid blue.

7. Press play on your audio source and adjust the volume as needed.  Stream on!

1.  Put your Amazon Alexa Device into Pairing Mode by either:

• Via Voice Control: Simply say to your Amazon Alexa Device "Alexa, Bluetooth Pairing Mode."

OR

• Via your Amazon Alexa App: In the app, go to Menu -> Settings -> The Alexa device you'd like to use -> Bluetooth -> Pairing Mode.
  

2. Put your Miccus RTX into Pairing Mode

• Make sure the RTX 2.0 and your Bluetooth device are physically located near each other during the pairing process, no more than 3ft apart.

• Make sure any previously paired devices, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, adapters are turned off so the RTX is ready to look for a NEW device to pair to.

Transmit (TX):

1. 
   

   On the back switch, select TX by pressing the button IN.

2. Connect either the 3.5mm or Optical Audio cable in the "From TV" on the back.
   

3. Place your receiving device into pairing mode (headphones, speakers, etc)

4. Press the MFB button for 3 seconds until the CH1 light begins flashing rapidly.

5. WAIT for the devices to connect.  This may take up to 30 seconds.

6. Once paired, the Home RTX 2 CH1 light will change to solid blue.

7. Press play on your audio source and adjust the volume as needed.  Stream on!

The Home RTX 2 has a special function, when in TX mode and plugged into a PC USB port, the Home RTX 2 will function as a long-range USB dongle allowing  you to use your Bluetooth headphones or speakers for 2 way communication in Gaming and VoIP calls.

1. Pair the Home RTX 2 with your favorite Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
2. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the Home RTX 2 to your PC or Mac.
3. On your PC, go to the audio settings.  For BOTH the speaker output and microphone input, select CSR audio dongle.
4. Now you can communicate wirelessly with others in online games and video calls.

User Manual

1. Charge the Battery / Supply Power: The SJRTX is powered by either micro-USB cable or by internal Lithium Ion battery.  Fully charge the battery before use for optimal results, approximately 4 hours.
2. Turn On/Off:  Turn ON the SJRTX by holding down the multi-function button (MFB) for 3 seconds or by connecting to USB power.  To power OFF, hold down the MFB for 6 seconds or remove from USB power.

3.  Pairing:

• Place your Bluetooth receiving or transmitting device into pairing mode.

• The SJRTX should be powered off to begin.
• Set the SJRTX switch to TX (Transmit to Headphones) or RX (Receive on Stereo Speakers).

• Press the SJRTX MFB button for roughly 5 seconds until it powers on and the LED light begins rapidly flashing blue.
• Wait for up to 30 seconds while the devices connect.
• Once paired, the LED light will change to either solid blue or blinking blue if connected in aptX Low Latency.  In RX mode, if your phone or tablet requires a passkey, use: 0000.

       4.  Plug the SJRTX into your audio device: Swivel the 3.5mm jack outward from the case and connect it to the appropriate audio output (TX mode only) or input (RX mode only) on your audio device.

First, select TX.

1. The SJRTX should be powered off to begin.
2. Locate the RX/TX switch and select TX.

Second, Provide Power/Turn ON.

1. Connect the included USB cable into the TV USB port or another USB connection for power.
2. When connected to USB, the SJRTX automatically turns ON.  The blue LED will light up and blink slowly.
   

Start the pairing:

1. Place your Bluetooth headphones, speaker or other receiving device into pairing mode.
2. Put the SJRTX into pairing mode: press the MFB button for 5 seconds until the unit powers on and the light begins flashing blue rapidly.
3. WAIT for the devices to connect.  This may take up to 30 seconds.
4. One paired, the SJRTX light will change to either solid blue or slow blinks if connected in aptX Low Latency.

Plug the SJRTX into your TV.

• 3.5mm cable.  On the TV, plug into the 3.5mm headphone jack.  On RTX, plug into the 3.5mm IN.       

If you have no sound after pairing to your headphones or speakers, check your TV's Sound Settings. Make sure that the Audio Output has been set to "HEADSET." Some TVs automatically complete this step for you, some don't.

• RCA cable.  On the TV, plug into the RCA (red and white) Audio Out.  On RTX, plug into the 3.5mm IN.

RCA NOTE: Make sure your TV red and white connection is labeled "Audio Out" or "AUX Out."  If the                  RCA ports are grouped with other color ports or not labelled, they are for Audio In and are not suitable.

To begin streaming music wirelessly, simply press the play button on your audio source, adjust the volume as needed and enjoy!

The pairing process creates a Bluetooth bridge between a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver.

For Quicker, Easier Pairing:

• Fully charge the SJRTX first.
• Bring the SJRTX and your Bluetooth device physically close together, no more than 3ft apart.
• Turn off any previously paired devices, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, adapters are turned off so the SJRTX is ready to look for a NEW device to pair to.
• Please follow the below steps in a timely manner, without interruptions for best results.

6.  Once paired, the SJRTX light will change to either solid blue or slow blinks if connected in aptX Low Latency.

7.  Plug the SJRTX into an audio source.

8.  To begin streaming music wirelessly, simply press the play button on your audio source, adjust the volume as needed and enjoy!

If for any reason the Swivel Jack RTX is not working as expected, perform a factory reset to clear the memory and restore the default settings.

1. With your SJRTX connected to power, turn your SJRTX off.  Hold the MFB button for approximately 7 seconds until the unit powers off.
2. Release the button (the device is off). If red light is lit, device is charging.
3. Press and hold the MFB button again for approximately 7-8 seconds. The SJRTX LED lights will come on and then go out. If red light is lit, device is charging.

Power on and pair with your device again for first use.
